During my stay, the staff was friendly and helpful, providing great service. I found the Market Square and Riverwalk walkable, adding to my experience. Free parking was an advantage for me. one evening the free shuttle allowed me to get around easily after exploring.
There were roadworks around the area which caused some detours. I also noticed the elevator was slow.

missingWrote a review on 01 Septproximity attractionscomplimentary shuttleshuttle confusion
The hotel's proximity to downtown attractions makes it a solid pick for exploring without much fuss. The complimentary shuttle efficiently transports guests to key spots like the River Walk, which is a real time-saver amidst the tourist hustle.
Check-in time is strictly enforced. don't expect to get in before 4 PM, which can be a bit frustrating after a long journey. If you’re in room 310, beware of the doorframe—there’s a significant gap that allows anyone a peek inside. Water pressure in the shower is decent but could be better, and the clock missing a knob is a minor but annoying oversight. Shuttle service can be hit or miss. once, I pre-booked a ride only to find out I needed to call for pickups instead. Having only packaged muffins after the first day of breakfast doesn’t set a high bar either.

The King Room was clean and quiet, which was great for a good night’s sleep. Beds were comfy, nice bedding, and everything felt well maintained. Had some amenities like a fridge and microwave, which were handy. The bathroom was fine too, nothing fancy but worked well. No major complaints, just what I expected from a chain hotel.

I found Sanitary Tortilla and their tacos were legit game changers! Plus, the staff handed me a welcome bag that made me feel like royalty. Those mini quiches at breakfast? Pure gold! Honestly, the hospitality made it even sweeter.
Now for a little sass, I thought I booked a free airport shuttle, but surprise! They cut it off at 10 PM, which felt like a cruel joke. And let’s not even start on the hot water situation—it was more cold showers than hot at times.

Family with children great value
So we had a family thing here for a few days, the staff was really awesome especially Falisha from maintenance who helped us out big time when we needed extra chairs and whatnot. The breakfast had plenty of options even if I think some could've tasted a little better, everything else was good.
Food wasn't gourmet but it was still decent for the price.

I enjoyed my stay at the Fairfield Inn in San Antonio. The location stood out. It’s close to the convention center and the River Walk, making it easy to explore. The room felt clean and organized. I appreciated the free parking, especially in a busy area. Breakfast options were decent. I liked that they offered individually wrapped utensils. However, housekeeping could use some improvement. On check-out morning, they knocked on my door early despite my "Do Not Disturb" sign. Also, the elevator was slow, adding some frustration when I wanted to get to my car quickly. I did encounter a few noise disturbances from other rooms, which affected my sleep a bit. Still, the overall vibe was friendly, and I would consider staying here again for the location and convenience.
